12 month scripts for 2026

As you may be aware there have been some changes proposed for the generation of prescriptions starting in 2026.

PMC will offer 12 month scripts where it is clinically safe to do so.  This will likely include patients taking 1 medication for 1 mild stable long term condition such as hayfever, thyroid disease

Anyone needing more than 1 medication for more than 1 condition will need more frequent monitoring
